Suffolk's health services are to get a boost next year with an extra £22 million of Government funding. Dr Dan saw first hand how essential this money will be when he visited Barham and Claydon Surgery again last weekend.
As both an NHS hospital doctor and a Health Minister, Dr Dan understands the importance of first class medical services in Suffolk and talked with Dr Naqvi about the 25 year campaign to replace the current facilities with a new surgery.
Dr Dan has been a lead campaigner in the fight for a new surgery in Claydon and Barham, and will be meeting with local planners and NHS bosses in the new year to help secure the cash to get the new surgery built.
