A Suffolk icon

Dominating the Suffolk skyline for over 800 years, Framlingham Castle has played its part in our counties illustrious history.

Dan had a tour of the castle were Mary Tudor stayed, gathering her forces before successfully marching on London to claim the throne and become Queen Mary.

English Heritage maintains and run the site; local Site Manager Verity Hales and Regional Manager Mark Ellis were able to give Dan an insight to what it takes to keep the castle running for the public to enjoy.

If you want a fun and interesting day out Dan recommends taking a trip to one of Suffolk's most iconic buildings.
