One of Suffolk's biggest challenges is looking after and properly supporting our ageing population, and Dr Dan is a regular visitor and supporter of care homes including Barham Care Centre, where met with Prema Fairburn-Dorai to discuss the importance of better supporting our older people and those with long-term medical conditions such as dementia.
Barham Care Centre is an innovative high level care home which provides a range of services to its residents, including respite care, long term nursing, rehabilitation and physiotherapy and dementia care.
Dr Dan will continue to do all he can to support our local care homes and ensure we see a more integrated health and social care service serving the needs of the many communities within Suffolk. The Barham Care Centre stands as an outstanding model of the high quality care that older people in Suffolk deserve.
