Dr Dan Poulter along with local NFU representative Rachel Carrington toured local farms and experienced at first hand the diverse skills needed to work in the agricultural industry.
Sitting in the cab of a combine harvester as it harvested a field of oilseed rape, Dan was able to learn for himself the skills required to operate such a complex machine.
He was also able to gain an insight into the important work carried out by famers in the preservation and sustainability of our glorious Suffolk countryside.
