Dan on "The Middy"

Dan called in on the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway as they launched their 2014 season. "The Middy", as the line is known locally, is the only standard gauge steam railway in Suffolk.

Tourism is an important part of Suffolk's economy and Dan was only too delighted to show his support for the "The Middy" and acknowledge the important role they play in Suffolk's vibrant tourist industry.

Dan was given a tour of the museum which contains many "Middy" artefacts and was able to get on the footplate of the locomotive "Wissington" and experience a trip along the line in the one of restored coaches.
