Debenham High School students visit Westminster for tour of Parliament

Teacher Jessica Hood-Wright and Debenham High School pupils visit Parliament A group of students from Debenham High School made the trip from Suffolk to Westminster for a tour of Parliament earlier this week.

The students were shown around the famous building, where MPs’ debate new laws and hold the Government to account, and heard more about the history and traditions of Parliament.

Dr Poulter, who has visited Debenham High School on many occasions, said, ‘Visiting Parliament is always a memorable experience and it offers young people to the opportunity to learn about Britain’s history, democracy and our law-making process.’

‘I hope the students found their day informative and enjoyable and I very much look forward to visiting Debenham High School again soon.’
