Dr Dan backs school sports at Claydon Primary School and presents new Kwik Cricket set from Asda to local children

Dr Dan shows off his batting skills at Claydon Primary SchoolDan is a great believer in helping young people to engage in exercise and sport and to develop healthy lifestyles at an early age. Claydon Primary School has a successful Kwik Cricket team and Dan was delighted to present the pupils with a new Kwik Cricket kit, after the school was chosen to receive the equipment by the local branch of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). Dan gave a demonstration of his cricket skills in the playground and spoke to the pupils about the importance of leading active and healthy lifestyles.

Kwik Cricket can be played indoors or outdoors, meaning schools do not need specialised facilities in order to take part and the game is designed to give both boys and girls an introduction to the sport - allowing them to field, bat and bowl.

Dan would like to thank all the teachers, staff and parents who help support school sport at Claydon and wishes the Kwik Cricket team every success.

Despite the cost of tickets from Ipswich, reliability and speed of service have not improved over the years....
