Dr Dan meets with young people at Castle Hill Junior School, North Ipswich

Dr Dan presents awards to pupils at Castle Hill Junior School during his visit to the school Dan regularly takes time out of his schedule to visit our local schools in Central Suffolk and North Ipswich, and last week, it was a real pleasure for him to go to Castle Hill Junior School before the half-term break. He was given a tour of the school by two pupils and Headteacher, Daniel Jones, before being invited to present awards during the afternoon assembly in recognition of the hard work of pupils this term.

Mr Jones and his staff are doing a fantastic job at Castle Hill Junior School and have introduced a range of steps to promote good learning, such as the mathletics exercise, which tests pupils mental arithmetic, alongside measures to boost literacy.

Dan would like to thank Headteacher Daniel Jones for showing him round the school and would also like to pay tribute to the hard work and dedication of all the teachers and staff at Castle Hill Junior School.

Member for Cambridge (Daniel Zeichner), of the east of England all-party parliamentary group, and on helping to put the east more firmly on the Government’s map. My hon. Friend was absolutely right...
