In the same week that Education Secretary Michael Gove predicted a bright future for Suffolk’s schools at a meeting organised by Dan with local head teachers in Woodbridge, Dan continued his focus on meeting with young people and our hardworking teachers when he visited to Otley Primary School.
Dan was given a tour of the small rural primary school by Headteacher Mrs Jan Hubbard, before speaking to the Student Council about the work he does as your local MP. The children wore pyjamas as part of their fundraising efforts for the Comic Relief appeal and Dan was delighted to see how happy they all were.
Dan is a strong supporter of our small rural schools and he would like to thank Jan Hubbard, along with all of her staff and pupils, for giving him such a warm welcome and he very much looks forward to visiting again.
