Over the past few weeks, Dan has visited a number of schools and met with many young people across Suffolk, from Debanham to Kesgrave High School in North Ipswich. He is extremely proud that we have so many good schools in Ipswich and Suffolk, with teachers and staff who are prepared to go the extra mile to inspire children to succeed.
Last week, he visited Sir Robert Hitcham Primary School in Debenham, where he met with Headteacher Jane Taylor before kindly being given a tour of the school by some of the year 6 pupils. He always enjoys meeting with teachers, staff and students and it was a real pleasure for Dan to see all of the afternoon classroom activities taking place, including a rehearsal of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, which the pupils are due to perform soon. He would like to thank Jane Taylor and the year 6 pupils for inviting him to visit and for taking the time to show him around the school. He very much looks forward to visiting again.
