Dan was on hand to present local youngsters in Saxtead with special Diamond Jubilee mugs as part of the village’s celebrations to mark the Queen’s 60 years on the throne. He joined local residents on the village green, where a number of games and activities were taking place, in addition to the bbq food and traditional homemade cakes and tea that were on offer. Dan also judged the best wheeled vehicle competition, which featured a variety of royal-themed designs. He would like to thank local Parish Council Chairman George Cullingford for showing him around the various stalls and activities on this very enjoyable day.
