Dr Dan Succeeds In Ending Daimler Road Flooding Misery

When he was first elected as our MP, Dr Dan took up the case of residents in the Daimler Road area of North West Ipswich who had been sufferring from damage to their properties and gardens, as a result of flash flooding during periods of heavy rainfall. Following his intervention on behalf of residents, Suffolk County Council and Anglian Water have now completed measures to improve local drainage. Dr Dan visited the site with local operations managers from Anglian Water to see the new sustainable drainage system and underground storage tank which will lessen the volume and flow of water on Kerry Avenue, Lovetofts Drive and Daimler Road during periods of heavy rainfall, and much better protect residents from the risk of flooding.
