Dr Dan supports Suffolk's farmers and local food producers at the Kesgrave Market

Dr Dan talks to a local stallholder at the Kesgrave MarketDan is a great supporter of shopping locally and backing Suffolk’s local farmers and food producers, who play a vital role in the local economy. Last weekend, he visited the Kesgrave Market which sells a wide range of fresh, reasonably priced, locally produced meat, fish and other local produce. Suffolk rightly has an excellent reputation for its locally produced food and drink, and Dan was delighted to see so many people supporting our local farmers and food producers at the market on Saturday.

Dan has always been a strong voice for Suffolk’s farmers in Parliament and has campaigned for more honest food labelling, so that meat products labelled 'British' only come from animals born, reared and slaughtered in Britain. He will continue to champion local farmers and food producers in Suffolk and very much looks forward to visiting the Kesgrave Market again.

Member for Cambridge (Daniel Zeichner), of the east of England all-party parliamentary group, and on helping to put the east more firmly on the Government’s map. My hon. Friend was absolutely right...
