Dan was delighted to be invited to attend the annual Framlingham Gala over the Bank Holiday weekend, where he judged the king and queens-themed parade. The event has been organised by Framlingham Sports Club since 1948, and all of the proceeds go towards maintaining facilities and new equipment at the club, which is a valuable community facility.
Dan joined James Cantrell from the Framlingham Sports Club before judging the procession of floats as they arrived at Castle Meadow. The winning entry was the float designed by the Foster family, which depicted Big Ben amongst other regal landmarks and symbols. Further entertainment was provided in the form of The Kangaroos gymnastic display team, John Evans and his Balance of Power show and the Norwich Samba Band. Dan would like to thank all of the residents who together helped to set up the Gala in this historic market town.
