Dr Dan visited the Mills Meadow care home in Framlingham. Mills Meadow provides residential and day care to older people, including some dementia patients, from the Framlingham area.
Ensuring adequate care for older people remains one of Dr Dan’s top priorities as an MP. Suffolk faces a crisis in care provision unless solutions to the problems of an ageing population are put in place in the next few years.
The dedicated staff at Mills Meadow work so hard to look after older people, some of whom have lived in the area all their lives and have family still living close by.
During the uncertainty surrounding the county council’s reorganisation of care provision, Dr Dan will be working to ensure that Mills Meadow is kept at the heart of care for older people in Framlingham.
