Dr Dan joined Eye's Mayor: Cllr Caroline Byles, and Susan Kaye for one of Suffolk's most popular Christmas events: late night shopping and the Christmas lights switch on in Eye. Susan was chosen by the residents of Eye to switch on the Christmas lights. Before the big switch on, the children of Eye Primary school entertained the crowd with some beautifully sung Christmas carols, and Dr Dan thanked the organisers for putting together such an impressive event for the community.
Dr Dan then accompanied Susan and Caroline, around the town to choose the winner of the best Christmas window competition. After visiting every shop in Eye and much deliberation, Fleurs Artisan, Florist and Greengrocer was declared the winner.
Dr Dan would like to thank all those who have worked so hard in Eye to make the town look so special and the evening such a fantastic success.
