Healthy Child Programme and Family Nurse Partnership Launch

Last week Dan was delighted to be able to participate at in the Healthy Child Programme and Family Nurse Partnership Launch at Trinity Park. This was organised by Bronwen Whittaker, Lead Nurse Children & Young People's Integrated Services at Suffolk County Council and her fantastic team.

The launch was attended by some of Suffolk's leading healthcare professionals. Dan spoke to them about the government's commitment to early years provision for children; making sure that we get it right for children from the earliest possible time.

He then spoke about the increase in the number of heath visitors over the last four years. There are now 2300 more health visitors nationally. They play such an important role in helping to create a stable home and family environment for young mums and families.
