Dan attended a meeting of Mendlesham Parish Council where the Mendlesham Neighbourhood Plan was discussed. When complete it will set out the views of the local Mendlesham community about planning polices - where new homes may be built and the appearance and design of any new builds.
The meeting also heard from Peter Ingram (Better Broadband for Suffolk programme director) about the progress being made to connect Suffolk homes and businesses to super fast broadband. Dan and his fellow Suffolk MPs and councillors successfully campaigned for £12 million of Government to fund the roll out of super fast broadband across the county.
