New Community Shop for Badingham

Dr Dan was delighted to officially open the new Community Shop and Café in Badingham. The shop has come about with lots of hard work and a real team effort from the community, assisted by financial support to the tune of £5500, from Suffolk Coastal District Council's Enabling Communities Budget.

Aside from benefitting the local residents, community pubs, shops and cafes provide a welcome pit-stop for those visiting the area, all too happy to stop awhile to sample fresh, locally prepared snack and goods. Passing trade such as this all helps to bolster the local economy.

Later that day, Dr Dan also visited the Duke of Marlborough in Somersham, where he was pleased to lend his support to the #SavetheDuke's fundraising campaign.
