Rushmere St Andrew Flooding Update

Dr Dan called a meeting to review progress on work being carried out by Anglian Water and Suffolk County Council to stop flooding problems in Rushmere St Andrew. Last summer, Dr Dan intervened to demand action, after he was contacted by a number of residents concerned about long standing flooding problems on The Street close to Chesnut Pond. Suffolk County Council have already taken steps to improve road drainage, but there is more still to be done. Dr Dan was pleased that both the County Council and Anglian Water will now be working together to continue to help improve the situation for residents who have suffered terrible flooding to their properties.
