Dan joined local Sub postmaster of Dales Road Post Office Stephen Jordan to cut the ribbon at the newly refurbished post office.
Dan said: "I am delighted to open this refurbished post office. It has been transformed into a modern and professional unit and the open-plan counters make it far easier for customers and staff to talk to each other without the need to shout."
"This post office is vital to the local community and I am confident the improvements will be warmly welcomed by my constituents. Extending the opening hours at the start and the end of the day helps customers to pop in before they go to work or visit on their way home."
