Dan paid a visit to St Elizabeth Hospice. Here he was able to see the new extension which is almost ready to open to patients. Director of Patient Services Verity Jolly showed Dan around the new build and then introduced him to patients and staff.
Dan is a great supporter of St Elizabeth Hospice, which plays a vital role in caring for people with progressive illnesses in Ipswich and Suffolk. The single biggest challenge facing our health service in Suffolk is meeting the human and financial cost of better
looking after our growing number of people at end of their lives and hospices like St Elizabeth, which rely on charitable donations to carry out their work, support vulnerable older people in their own homes and communities by providing a valuable 'hospice at home' service. All the staff and volunteers at the hospice work tirelessly to look after residents towards the end of their lives.
