At a surprise gathering of the whole school Dan was delighted to be able to present teacher Laura Wilbourn with the prestigious, Pearson Teaching Award for Teacher of the Year in a Primary School.
Dan, along with the rest of the school was able to see a short presentation about Laura and what made the judges choose her. Laura was one of only 62 teachers from across the country who were selected from more than 24,000 nominations to receive this award. Laura will be competing at the national final in October and Dan joins the school in wishing her the best of luck.
Dan was delighted to be back supporting Stradbroke School.
