Sustainable funding required for NHS and Social Care

Dr Dan has spoken out regarding his concerns around NHS and social care funding. As a practising NHS doctor, Dr Dan often sees people who are medically well enough to go home, but are forced to stay in hospital due to difficulties in arranging social care packages or appropriate accommodation.

Dr Dan has called for an urgent long term plan to ensure that the health and social care system is properly and sustainably funded and sees the introduction of a health and care tax as a possible solution.
