Over the past few weeks, Dan has visited a number of schools and met with many young people across Suffolk. He is extremely proud that we have so many good schools in Ipswich and Suffolk, with teachers and staff who are prepared to go the extra mile to inspire children to succeed.
Last week, he visited Thorndon Primary School. He always enjoys meeting with teachers, staff and students and it was a real pleasure for Dan to see the children enjoying themselves as they learned.
He was particularly impressed with how inclusive the school is. He was very struck with the sensory room and outdoor space designed to help those children who need a more physical and active learning environment.
He thoroughly enjoyed meeting the school council and listening to what they had to say. He would like to thank Ms Tamsin Little for taking the time to show him around the school. He very much looks forward to visiting again.
