West Engineering are another long standing Ipswich based business. Specialising in steel fabrication they make a range of products from conservatory frames to highly specialised pipe work used on North Sea drilling rigs.
Dan was delighted to be able to meet some of the highly skilled staff who work for West Engineering and was able to witness some pipe work being manufactured. The company has invested in a new heavy plant and continues to innovate and look for new opportunities.
Suffolk has many important small and medium sized companies and they make a significant contribution to the economy and their local communities.
