Dr Dan Poulter today enjoyed a visit to the Beeches Community Primary School. The school plans to provide a community hub within the premises for the benefit of local residents and Dr Poulter enjoyed meeting with the team behind the initiative and learning more about the work they are doing to improve mental health outcomes within the school.
During the visit, Dr Poulter also had the opportunity to meet with a group of year six pupils. They spoke to him about being an MP, asking excellent questions around what he finds most challenging about the role and what he does to help people locally. Dr Poulter also spoke to the students about the £25m Town Deal money he worked hard to secure and how it will be used to help deliver improvements to shopping parades across North West Ipswich.
