The Great Framlingham Sausage Festival is a celebration of the Great British Sausage and local MP, Dr Dan Poulter, was delighted to visit once more and join in with this hugely popular event.

Aside from the myriad of sausages on offer, there’s also entertainment for all the family, with plenty of stalls and activities on offer. At the heart of the festival is a trail taking visitors around Framlingham to various shops and businesses, where they can find and try out produce from participating sausage makers.

Dr Dan was delighted that some of this year’s winners and runners up are based in Central Suffolk and North Ipswich, including Lane Farm and best dressed venue, Care UK's Mills Meadow Care Home in Framlingham.

A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes and on the day itself and Dr Poulter congratulated organisers Rachel Chesman, Steve Calver and Kelly Necrews for their efforts in creating such a fantastic event.
