Dr Dan Poulter was pleased to meet with Head Teacher Mr Ratcliffe. During the meeting, Dr Poulter discussed concerns around accessing the right support for children with special educational needs and the associated processes. Dr Poulter continues to raise these issues with Suffolk County Council and also welcomed publication of the Department of Education’s SEND and Alternative Provision Improvement Plan – Right Support, Right Place, Right Time, here.
A group of year six pupils put some well-informed questions to Dr Poulter. The students were keen to find out more about climate change and Sizewell C power station.
Dr Poulter thoroughly enjoyed his visit and looks forward to returning soon.
