This time of year sees many of Suffolk’s local communities come together to celebrate the festive season, and over the past few weeks it has been an enormous pleasure for Dan to visit some of the Christmas bazaars and fairs across Suffolk.
He was delighted to be invited to attend the joint fair of the Friends of Westbourne Library and Broomhill Trust, the Framlingham St John Ambulance Christmas sale and Hoxne Christmas fair. These events showcased the strength of community spirit that exists in Ipswich and Suffolk, and Dan was delighted to see so many people of all ages turn out to enjoy the seasonal refreshments on offer and take part in the games and activities. Without the hard work and planning that is put in by local volunteers, the fairs would not be able to take place, and he would like to extend his warmest thanks to all those residents who have generously given up their time to make the Christmas bazaars across Suffolk so successful again this year.
