Dr Poulter met with Chief Executive Christine Luxton and Director of Wildlife and Landscape Recovery Ben McFarland and enjoyed discussing the importance of caring for and retaining Suffolk wildlife.
Often a champion of rural issues, Dr Poulter also highlighted how keen farmers are to support local wildlife wherever possible.
Dr Poulter looks forward very much, to meeting with Suffolk Wildlife again.
After the visit Dr Poulter said, “The Suffolk countryside is beautiful and it is wonderful to see its wildlife, nurtured and cared for so well by the experts of the Suffolk Wildlife Trust. They are actually taking care of all of us, we can all benefit from time spent closer to nature and many of their sites enable access for everyone.”
