Local MP, Dr Dan Poulter, was all to pleased to drop into Kesgrave's Cafe 66, a friendly community cafe which is open to members of the public.
Cafe 66 is staffed by young people with learning difficulties and disabilities. It offers them a unique opportunity to learn valuable skills in a supportive environment. The cafe instills a huge sense of pride and improves the young peoples' interpersonal skills and self-confidence. A number of volunteers support the staff and help with the cafe duties.
Whilst there, Dr Dan was pleased to be joined by Kesgrave Councillor, Stuart Lawson. Both enjoyed meeting the young people, the team of support staff and a number of visiting customers.
