One of the highlights of the summer for Dan is the chance he gets to visit the many fetes, fairs and festivals that take place across Suffolk. Last week, he was invited to perform the grand prize draw at the annual Claydon Primary School summer fair, which this year featured a variety of stalls, refreshments, and traditional games.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, £2,207 was raised on the day, all of which will go towards the funding of new equipment for the school Events like the Claydon Primary School Summer Fair demonstrate the strong community ties that exist in our villages and towns, and it was a pleasure for Dan to chat to local residents as he made his way around the various activities. Dan would like to thank Councillor John Whitehead for showing him around the fair and he very much looks forward to attending again next year.
