Dr Dan Poulter was delighted to visit Huttons of Earl Soham this morning, where he met with owner, John Hutton and his team.

Dr Poulter was delighted to see that the shop was so busy and clearly very well supported, and he learned more about how it had changed over the forty years it has been in the ownership of John Hutton.

Speaking about the visit, Dr Poulter said “We have such a wealth of fantastic local farmers and food producers here in Central Suffolk and North Ipswich and it is fantastic to see a local business doing so well and knowing the provenance of its supply chain.  Huttons of Earl Soham is a fantastic local success story, adapting to the market and going from strength to strength.  I always buy locally, wherever possible, and will definitely be visiting Huttons again very soon.”
