Member of Parliament for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich, Dr Dan Poulter, was today delighted to visit a newly rebuilt community hub in Framlingham. The Castle Community Rooms completely replaces the old St Michael’s Community Centre. Dr Poulter was welcomed by organisers of the project.
Last week saw the Launch of Castle Community Rooms. This is an excellent facility for Framlingham and will be used for a wide range of groups from baby classes to dementia support.
Fundraising events were key to the success of this first-rate new facility. Many events took place, such as the joint summer auction for the Castle Community Rooms and the GeeWhizz Charity.
Commenting on the visit, Dr Poulter remarked, “It was wonderful to hear about the journey to complete the building of Castle Community Rooms, from inception to completion. I am very impressed with the timeframe in which this was delivered and very pleased Framlingham has such an outstanding community hub.”
