As staff and students look forward to the start of the October half term break, Central Suffolk and North Ipswich MP, Dr Dan Poulter was pleased to return to Hartismere School to learn more about how the school community is adapting to life as we continue to navigate the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr Poulter first met with Head Teacher, Mr Jim McAtear, who applauded his team and the students for their resilience and willingness to overcome many of the challenges. Dr Poulter then went on to meet with a group of Year 13 (Sixth Form) students, who were keen to share their experiences of studying through lockdown, the Government’s policies on Covid, as well as farming and food standards in post-Brexit Britain.
