Member of Parliament for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich, Dr Dan Poulter, was pleased to join officers from Suffolk Constabulary during the night shift on Friday evening.
During the busy shift, Dr Poulter accompanied the officers on a number of blue light call-outs, witnessing a wide range of issues. Dr Poulter saw first hand the challenges faced by our hardworking officers and has taken away a number of actions, including pedestrian access to the Orwell Bridge.
Speaking about the shift, Dr Poulter praised the dedicated and hardworking officers for their efforts to keep us safe all year round, but particularly during the festive period.
